We visited Grimes Graves the site of an ancient flint mine and were able to climb down a 30 footladder into the shaft and see the old workings.
Went on to the Norfolk Broads, at this point it started raining . Then to Great Yarmouth , where in true British spirit, families - it is school holidays at present-in the pouring rain were enjoying the seaside.

Coming home we got caught up in a traffic jam and moved 2 miles in 50 mins. The rain was pouring down and driving conditions were difficult, this is the A120 and it was not fun.
This is Robbins favorite store, a substitute for Bunnings and every bit as good and just as frequently visited. It is in Bishops Stortford about 10mins from Takely, winding lanes and British traffic willing.
