Final Week

This will be our last chance of posting before we start traveling back. Had our usual busy time although this time it included a couple of games of golf. The golf courses are fine although perhaps not as interesting as the Scottish courses of 2006.





Went to Cambridge to see the sights which included Kings College Chapel and a punt on the river. Funnily enough, I didnt feel a dill when on the thing.















Called in to Duxford Air Museum where devices deliver death and destruction less subtly than at the Colleges. Ive got to say the main reason I wanted to go was because I saw they had an SR71 (Blackbird) spyplane on show. Its much bigger than I had imagined.




Went to another garden and it was the best we've seen. The Beth Chatto gardens just past Colchester. Less formal which is my sort of garden.

We leave Takeley Saturday for a few days in Vienna then begin the long trek home.
