Kiddies, do you remember the old 300GD Mercedes 4WD. They still make the same body shape although the Russian gentlemen who own them and get their chauffeur/bodyguard to drive them generally choose the petrol V8. You wont be able to peer into any of these black windows. Privacy is #1
Parking in Moscow is Raffertys rules. There are officially no rules at the moment, although we did see a couple of (cheap and nasty) cars towed away.One row on the footpath, next row on the road and a further row on the road which is occupied by the driver waiting for his boss. All this doesnt leave much room for the actual traffic.

We went into a souvenir shop off Red Square. They had some nice stuff and these.

Inside the GUM store. No longer do the peasants queue for two hours for their cabbage. It is full of brand name upmarket clothing stores.

The power points are like that in the US, too. Always on. Sometimes they even spark a little bit when you plug something in, just to let you know it works.
Did you see any Cessnas landing in Red Square?
No Cessnas. Not even a rocket launcher (but saw plenty of those in western China).
