St Basils with some sun to show its colours this time.
Buildings being refurbished had a false cover which was quite decorative. The Portaloos perhpaps not so photogenic.
A tourist attraction at the entrance. The chap also had a little monkey in a suit.
(Added later by popular request is the monkey. Dunno why he is sideways. Maybe its a trick monkey)
This is the Marriot Hotel where we stayed. While taking the photos we became aware that we were having our photos taken by the police in a nearby car. Thats when I was glad we had the IDs to say we were staying in the hotel.
More autumn. Apologies.
Finally it was time to leave on our last train trip, this time the Moscow to St Petersburg leg. No compartments. It was a three or four hour trip in the Aurora. (Every second tourist thing seemed to be called Aurora).
Miss Bossy Boots has us line up to have our passports checked off against her list. After 10 mintes maybe 6 were on board so she gave up. The boss tour guide was glad as she had a peek and couldnt find her name on the list!

You can't say "The chap also had a little monkey in a suit" and not put a photo. Please tell me you have a photo of the monkey.
OK. I have added him/her in.
